Course Information: | |
All courses are run in English. Students are therefore required to have an English language proficiency that will enable them to participate fully and meaningfully in the course.
Written examinations are necessary on most of the courses. Please advise us of any learning support each student may require. |
Venue: | |
If you have arranged with medinstruct to use your own venue, please ensure that a room of adequate size to accommodate the total amount of students on your first aid training course is made available. We also require sufficient lighting, power points, tables and seating for students to enable the instructor to carry out the course effectively.
Some courses require specific rooms and facilities as laid down by the HSE. For such courses, it may be necessary for us to inspect a customer's premises to approve it as an appropriate venue. A member of the customer’s staff should confirm details of local fire and evacuation procedures, domestic arrangements for refreshments and meals to medinstruct’s Head Office, prior to the course commencing. |
Suitable Clothing: | |
| Students attending a medinstruct course must wear comfortable clothing suitable for practical and theory aspects of the course. | |
Certificates: | |
A student must attend all components of a medinstruct course to qualify for a certifcate. In order to maintain medinstruct's high standards, certificates will only be issued where the course instructor and assessor is satisfied that the student has reached the required standard.
The instructor / assessor's decision shall be final. |
Programme Changes: | |
| medinstruct reserves the right to cancel and/or amend course dates if any course is over or under subscribed, although this is something we largely try to avoid. In this event however, every effort will be made to arrange suitable alternatives. | |
Disclaimer: | |
medinstruct shall not be liable for the failure to perform its duties due to death, illness, accident, industrial dispute, and third party default or for any reason outside of their reasonable control.
All medinstruct courses aim to ensure that a student benefits from the latest first aid theories and procedures together with practical training. All students participate in any aspect of a medinstruct course at their own risk. No liability is accepted by medinstruct for vehicles parked at their training centre or student's belongings in the vehicle or on training centre grounds or property. |
